Our Founders and Their Journey
Founded by Oles Kopets and Yaro Khaynas, NordHouse is the culmination of over 15 years of successful collaboration in the construction and wood processing industries. Yaro and Oles, originally from Ukraine, built thriving businesses in Eastern Europe, specializing in innovative solutions for the construction sector. However, their lives and careers took an unexpected turn in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, prompting them to relocate to Canada with a shared determination to continue building and innovating together.
Oles Kopets, a Harvard University graduate, brings a wealth of academic knowledge and strategic expertise to the company. His vision, rooted in excellence and innovation, aligns perfectly with the entrepreneurial spirit of his business partner, Yaro Khaynas. With over 15 years of hands-on business experience, Yaro is a passionate entrepreneur who thrives on creating meaningful solutions for complex challenges.
